Gifts for Dog Lovers: 8 ideas for the person whose dog runs the house
Updated 25 October 2026
You know the one. The dog has the best spot on the sofa, its own Christmas stocking and more photos on their phone than the rest of the family put together. These eight are for them (and, quite often, for the dog), from a £10.50 advent calendar to a bed the dog will refuse to share. All from UK shops and checked on 25 October 2026.

100 dog-friendly walks across the UK, each between 2 and 6 miles, with suggested stops and places to eat and stay that welcome dogs. From an independent bookshop in Rugby, and good for planning next year's weekends from the sofa.

Prices and stock change as Christmas gets closer, so check before you order. And yes, the dog will still want the box more than what came in it.
Prices were checked on the date shown and can change. We don’t earn anything from links to other shops; we just like these. Anything marked “ours” is made by us.
